WHAT DOES "COVENANT" MEAN?

WHAT DOES "COVENANT" MEAN?

The word “Covenant” refers to the agreement that both churches and individual Christians have within the Covenant to serve together doing the Lord’s work. Evangelical refers to the fact that this church believes in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The use of “Mission” in our local church’s name highlights our desire to tell others about the salvation that is found in Christ.

WORSHIP MUSIC STYLE?

WORSHIP MUSIC STYLE?

We believe that the focus in worship needs to be on God, rather than the style of music. We value the wonderful hymns and praise songs that have been a part of the church's style of worship for many years.

We also believe that the church must be relevant to the culture in which God has placed it in order to effectively reach the unchurched, which includes singing new songs and more up beat music.

Therefore, we offer both contemporary services and a traditional service. We have a Contemporary Service on Sunday mornings at 9:00am in the Multi-Ministry Center. A traditional service is held at 10:30am in the Sanctuary.
